NAPLES, Fla., Feb. 7, 2025 – Entries are now closed for the 2025 Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO, with former World No. 1 and two-time Chubb Classic champion Fred Couples and fellow PGA TOUR Champions winners Alex Cejka, Jerry Kelly, Rocco Mediate and Tim O’Neal headlining the tournament’s latest commitments, joining an elite field that includes major champions, Hall-of-Famers and legends of the game. Taking place Feb. 14-16 at Tiburón Golf Club’s Black Course, the Chubb Classic is Naples’ flagship PGA TOUR Champions event, now entering its 38th year.

 

Competing as sponsor exemptions include Calusa Pines Director of Golf Mike Balliet, PGA TOUR Champions professional Mike Muehr, 2020 Chubb Classic winner Scott Parel and PGA TOUR Champions winners Dicky Pride and Brett Quigley. “With the Chubb Classic once again kicking off the PGA TOUR Champions domestic schedule for the 2025 season, we are excited to welcome an elite field back to Naples and Tiburón Golf Club for the 38th annual Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO,” said Sandy Diamond, executive director of the Chubb Classic.

 

The Chubb Classic will feature a 78-player field competing in the 54-hole championship Friday-Sunday, Feb. 14-16, for a share of the $1.8 million purse. GOLF Channel will televise all three rounds of play live.

 

Three World Golf Hall-of-Fame members will tee it up in Naples next week, including Couples, Ernie Els and five-time Chubb Classic champion Bernhard Langer. The field also features eight past champions, including defending champion Stephen Ames, Langer, two-time winners Couples and Kirk Triplett, and winners Scott Parel, Joe Durant and Lee Janzen.

 

Making their Chubb Classic tournament debuts next week will be Felipe Aguilar and five-time PGA TOUR winner Mark Wilson, both competing in their first year on PGA TOUR Champions.

Tickets on sale: Tickets are on sale for the 2025 Chubb Classic, including exclusive hospitality and general admission tickets offering a wide degree of entertainment and access. All 2025 tournament tickets are digital and will be emailed after purchase. Tickets can be viewed on either a mobile device or printed out to be scanned at the main gate.

 

Complimentary admission to the 2025 Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO will be offered to all military personnel (active, retired, reserve and veteran), service personnel (police, fire, EMS) and front-line healthcare workers (doctors and nurses) and a plus-one, courtesy of SERVPRO.

A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to local charities throughout Southwest Florida. The Chubb Classic has proudly supported more than 30 charitable organizations since the tournament’s inception in 1988.

 

Recognition Dinner powered by EMC Lighting & Technology: For the second consecutive year, the Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO will host the Recognition Dinner, powered by EMC Lighting & Technology. The Recognition Dinner will take place Thursday, Feb. 13 at Tiburón Golf Club and will highlight a past champion of the long-running event. This special event will feature a happy hour, a sit-down dinner with an upscale menu hand-picked by the honoree, an open bar throughout the evening and a question-and-answer session with the honoree. Tiburón Golf Club, managed by Troon, is the only facility to host a PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions and LPGA Tour event in the same calendar year. Tiburón Golf Club features two 18-hole Championship golf courses, The Gold and The Black. The Black Course, which opened in 2001, has a very distinctive look with its pine straw-lined fairways, crushed coquina waste areas and undulating greens nestled amidst acres of pine trees and native Florida foliage.
